This year, for the first time, the commune of Ixelles, in collaboration with RainbowHouse Brussels and Brussels Pride, will welcome a number of leading DJs from Brussels’ queer scene to kick off Brussels Pride weekend. VTT, Rokia Bamba, Legolane and Azo will take turns behind the decks from 17:00 to 23:00 and will have place du Luxembourg jumping. Several organisations (Amnesty International, Le Refuge LGBTQIA+, BGS, Rainbow Ambassadors) will take the floor to discuss the struggles and key challenges the community faces.
A brand new, socially conscious and unmissable festive event!
A finalist on Drag Race Belgium and co-founder of the Ghent-based collective House of Lux, having graced the stage of the Werq the World Tour, Susan from Grindr is the quirky, camp auntie we simply can’t do without.
A Brussels-based DJ of Congolese origin, LEGOLANE crafts a hybrid, high-intensity sound blending Hard Groove, Trance, Baile Funk and Ballroom influences — a style that has taken him from the stages of Tomorrowland to the streets of Rio Carnival.
A Brussels-based producer, keyboardist and DJ, Azo crafts an acid-tinged fusion of Acid, Techno and Trance inspired by UK rave culture and Detroit, a sound that has taken her from Boiler Room to Tomorrowland, via Watergate and the Rex Club.
A DJ of Vietnamese origin immersed in the Brussels scene, VTT moves between groovy house and bouncy techno, with a selection rooted in old-school sounds from the 1990s and 2000s.
A pioneer of the Brussels DJ scene since the 90s, Rokia Bamba captivates the crowd, gets bodies moving from head to toe, and keeps smiles on the dancefloor until the early hours.
This event is organised with the support of Romain De Reusme, Mayor of Ixelles, Nevruz Unal, Deputy Mayor for Equality and Human Rights, and the members of the College of the Mayor and Deputy Mayors of Ixelles.
